Firesiders: Innocent Blood Cover Art

That really is just a big wall packed with foreshadowing and plot hints. Mmmmmm. Allegory. My favorite literary device, because being straightforward about anything is scary!

So, last sequential work for Firesiders was done back in 2013. AAAUUUGH. I cannot believe how slow I've been with this stupid project. As more time passed, the more the notes piled up, and the more nervous and unfaithful I grew toward it, trying my hand at dozens of other projects, only to bounce back to this story over and over again. It was only during this last year that I realized that I will never be able to do anything substantial until I get it out of my head. This is basically an art project exorcism, dudes.

Anyone feel me? Ever had an idea that just wouldn't... leave you alone?

But hey, Innocent Blood is honestly just a 'test comic', which will consist of two issues. Its purpose is to figure out how to comic/draw again, what the style's gonna be (some pages are gonna look different as I play around with things), test my ability to finish projects, and see whether or not Firesiders is interesting, basically! Because some of the lore has changed since I first started writing the script, this isn't a canon story, but I'd say the 'feel' is canon.
