Radu, the Beautiful

A character based on the historical figure of the same name, Radu is the younger brother of Vlad Dracula. In RedStarryNight's original story, Radu has also partaken in the same dark gift as his brother - vampirism. Although he maintains a fair facade, he is a covetous monster who yearns for his sibling's throne, which is expressed more tangibly in this portrait as Radu extends a hand toward the viewer in reconciliation, though his shadow betrays his inner avarice and twisted intentions.

This was another extremely enjoyable and ponderous commission made for RedStarryNight's Dracula story.
